April 18, 2016 – Wellington, Florida – Kasey Perry-Glass was the perfect choice to be Trilogy Saddles’ newest Ambassador. Not only has the talented rider been moving up the ranks to become one of the USA’s hottest dressage superstars while riding in her Trilogy Verago saddle, but she trains with Debbie McDonald, a Trilogy Ambassador with her own special saddle model.

During the 12-week Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, Kasey impressed the judges and wowed the crowd with her performances on her 13-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding Goerklintgaards Dublet (Diamond Hit-La Costa, Olympic Ferro) and her 17-year-old Danish Warmblood mare Røstruplund’s Scarlet (Don Schufro-Ramona, Blue Hors Romancier). Her recent Grand Prix Freestyle in the CDIO3* aboard Dublet earned them the Nations Cup Individual Silver Medal for her personal best score of 81.325 percent. The performance was so impressive that technical advisor and chef d’équipe of the U.S. national dressage team Robert Dover dubbed it “fearless.”

“I think it was a progression throughout the season,” Perry-Glass said. “Dublet and I have really formed a relationship where I can have a conversation with him in the ring and he trusts me. I’m so blessed, I could not have asked for a better year. I think I found my grit. It’s just going to keep getting better for us. I really believe that. We are both really patient and we are in it for the long haul. I want to keep him happy and healthy.”
One way she keeps her horses in peak condition is with Trilogy saddles. Olympic athlete Adrienne Lyle introduced her to their top-quality products and she’s been a fan of the saddles and the expert fitting and service provided by Debbie Witty of Performance Saddlery, the president, designer and distributor of the Trilogy brand.
“I’m excited about this new partnership with Debbie Witty’s Trilogy saddles!” Perry-Glass said. “The moment I sat in Adrienne Lyle’s Trilogy saddle I knew I needed to get my own! I love the position it allows me to be in and the freedom to move with my horses’ movement. I don’t feel confined or forced into one spot.”
Trilogy Verago
As the rider makes plans to head to Europe to compete for a spot on Team USA for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this summer, she’ll be sure to pack her Trilogy Verago.
“Dublet’s new Trilogy saddle has done wonders for him,” Perry-Glass said. “He has become more free in his shoulders and more elastic in his movement. I can tell he is more comfortable.”
Witty is pleased to have the Grand Prix rider onboard as a Trilogy saddle Ambassador. “We have closely followed Kasey Perry-Glass and each encounter with her has made us desire a greater involvement with Kasey, her horses and her style!” she said. “Kasey is the all-American Girl and you can tell that she has been well-raised! She is humble, hard working, approachable and really grateful for all that comes her way. We love that she is fully invested and flourishing with Debbie McDonald’s coaching program so, of course, that is a winning combination! Noticing every nuance with each of her horses is a priority for Kasey and it shows in her horses’ performance. They are dedicated to working hard for her. We are so very excited that Kasey has been riding successfully in our Trilogy saddles since last summer and now will continue on as one of our Ambassadors. Welcome to the Team Kasey!”
